I qualified as a beauty and holistic therapist many years ago- I left school and knew that was what I wanted to be. I qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Chakra Balancing and Anatomy and Physiology plus many more skin and beauty treatments. I also completed courses in nutrition and counselling. I gained experience working in beauty salons but holistic health was my true passion and the route I wanted to pursue. I managed my own business for a few years offering treatments in a complementary medical health centre but due to my thirst for learning I needed a change, choosing to train in education. I worked with children and young people for some time which led me to assessing qualifications, gaining an adult teaching qualification and becoming a 121 tutor. I continued to visit previous regular clients on a mobile basis.
Then my twin boys came along! After a long break raising my children I decided I needed to find myself again and return to my first love. I began renewing my skills and knowledge and enhancing my professional development. I started looking deeper into facial anatomy and learnt various advanced massage techniques such as Eastern European lifting massage and Brazilian lymphatic drainage. I knew that I needed to find my niche and focus on the treatments that I enjoy doing so much so I put together some packages and started working intuitively on my friends and family to discover what they needed most from this service. I realised that I could combine massage treatments with skin health to create a bespoke treatment plan.
HENYO was then born!

I wanted to create a service that was different to the regular. I set out to perform treatments that combine massage therapy with advanced skincare to address individual needs whilst promoting health and wellness because I love to help people heal. As a long sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks, alternative therapies have been beneficial to me on a personal level and I want to share this with others. I have performed a lot of research into how to harmonise emotional, mental and physical health with natural and holistic methods.
I love working flexibly from my discreet home studio as I am able to cater well for my clients needs.​ I look forward to welcoming you here soon.

The Relief
Trigger point therapy
A neuromuscular therapy which aids pain relief, speeds up recovery from injury and corrects muscular imbalances. We often get 'knots' in our muscles and connective tissues which develop sensitivity to pain once they are compressed. If areas become interlocked there is poor circulation to the area and inflammation and pain occurs. Sometimes the symptoms felt can be distant from the root of the problem. Following a consultation, trigger point therapy can be used to aid the healing of muscular injuries, carpel tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain injury and tight, over worked muscles. A series of hands on massage techniques and massage tools such as foam balls/rollers may be used.

Skin is cleansed and toned followed by collagen induction therapy where a derma pen (which has very tiny needles) repeatedly punctures the skin to stimulate the healing process and build new collagen and elastin.

If you love a wash of colour on your lips this semi permanent makeup technique is the one for you! Think wash-proof, waterproof, kiss-proof colour without the mess and hassle of a lip stain! Pigment is inserted under a superficial layer of the lip to create a fuller and more defined shape along with a tint of natural looking colour. The final results will last 1-3 years depending on how well you follow the aftercare and your lifetstyle habits. A topical numbing cream is used during the procedure and the ink is then layered to the correct depth desired. A follow up session is required 6 weeks following the first treatment to correct any colour lost during healing or rejected by the body.
